On September 12, 1990, the welcome path to the Nelson residence became well-trodden as this home became a haven for a group of believers who desired to study and learn God’s written Word. The inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture was very important to this growing band of like-minded disciples and for various reasons had become a necessary focus of their attention. It was out of this common determination to sit under the authority of the Bible and be nourished by it - to be faithful disciples of Christ - that a new church was born.

On September 8, 1991, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship held its first Sunday service, meeting at the former J. Henry Specht School in Kulpsville. In December 1993, the young congregation began meeting at Christopher Dock High School, and in January of 1998 moved to its present location, now under its new name, Cornerstone Church of Skippack.

Our desire remains to know God and to make as many men, women, and children as possible devoted disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
