Men's Retreat
Men over 21 are invited to a men's retreat June 1 and 2 at Beavr Run Hunting and Fishing Club. Fishing, hiking, biking (bring your own bike) is available. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer and also a brochure with details and map. Any questions please see Jim Moyer.
YOUTH GROUP MARK YOUR CALENDARS
Saturday, May 19th - Photo Scavenger Hunt
Sunday, May 20th - Hoagie Sale to benefit teens going as STMs at Joni and Friends Family Retreat.
Sunday, June 3rd - Year-end Picnic at the Ketterers' after church.
All Jr. and Sr. High Teens are welcome at any of these events and our regularly scheduled meetings on Sunday night at 6 pm.
VBS (Vacation Bible School)
We are excited to announce the dates for VBS (Vacation Bible School) 2012. Please join us for a trip to Son Rise National Park on July 9-13th from 6:15 pm to 8:30 pm. Be on the lookout for more information to volunteer to help. Any questions please contact Melissa Overholser.

Ladies' Event
Saturday June 23 in Doylestown. Ladies, bring your children, friends and a bagged lunch with you for a day out on Saturday June 23rd. We are meeting at the Peace Valley Lavender Farm first. There we will have a guided tour and visit the gift shop. Afterward we will eat our lunch by Lake Galena. Lastly we will visit Tabora Farm and Orchard for some delicious ice cream. More info is in the narthex. Please sign up so our tour guide knows how many to expect.
Men Needed for Joni & Friends Retreat
Attention Men-Luke 14:21-23 "Go out quickly ...and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame...so that my house will be full." Joni and Friends needs 12 more guys to help accomplish this mission by serving at Family Retreat the same week our Cornerstone team will be there: July 29-August 3. They are looking for active Christian guys who are age 16 to 40-ish to be friends and helpers to young active men with disabilities. Please contact Karen Kopp or Sybrina Knorr if you are interested or know someone who would like to serve. Training is provided! Lives will be impacted! God will be glorified! Join us!
New Members Class
If you are considering joining Cornerstone Church, there will be a New Members Class held on certain Wednesday evenings at the church throughout May and June. If you are interested, please speak to Pastor Rich Craven soon.
Reading Phillies
Save the date for the all church Reading Phillies game, Friday, July 27 for the game and fireworks. Tickets will be $10.00 per person. There is a signup sheet in the foyer. Any questions, see Dave Seibert.
AWANA
AWANA meets on Sunday evenings at 6-7:30 pm.
All children age 3 (potty trained) through 6th grade are invited.

Childrens Choir
The Children's Choir has finished for the summer. It will begin again in the fall.
Children's Choir meets before AWANA, from 5:15 to 5:50 pm Sunday evenings.
The
schedule for Children's Choir will be on the same schedule as for AWANA (Sept-May).
The age has changed. It will be 4 yr olds through 4th grade.

THRiVE
This is a mid-week one-hour fellowship for young adult (20's and 30's) Christians who want a next step beyond worshiping on Sundays. We study the Bible, pray, share at a serious level, and grow together as we love and serve our Savior Jesus Christ. Childcare is provided. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 7pm-8pm at Cornerstone. Ladies' Morning Bible Study
We have finished our regular morning meetings for the season but will be meeting periodically over the summer; if anyone would be interested in being included, please see or call Pat Sharpe. We will resume in the fall.
Ladies' Evening Bible Study
The Ladies' evening Bible study has finished for the season. We will begin again in the fall. We meet at Cornerstone Church each Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. Friends and neighbors are welcome! Call Ruth Werner with any questions.
DivorceCare
The next session has begun and runs thru May 29. We meet at 7 pm at Cornerstone Church in Skippack.

Care for Our Servicemen
There are APO boxes (special marked boxes for sending goodies to our soldiers) left over from our recent love/care package project. If anyone would like a box to fill for a soldier please ask Sandy or Carol for one. These boxes are such an encouragement for our men and women as they sometimes must endure hardships we can't begin to imagine so that we might enjoy the freedoms we so love.
Used Cell Phones
Soldiers like to 'phone home'. There is an organization that collects used cell phones, refurbishes them and then sends them to troops overseas so they can make those uplifting, precious calls to their loved ones. If you have a cell phone you don't know what to do with, but it's too good to trash, there is a bag on a table in the foyer to collect those phones. It is clearly marked. Several phones can go in a bag and be sent together. Thank you for considering this use for your old phone.
