The Owens family help run the Kentucky Mountain Mission in Beattyville, KY. The camp is open all summer, and is open for weekend retreats the rest of the year. Raised in Kentucky, William attended the Youth Haven Bible Camp, of which he is now director. He's also a pastor of Bear Track Church and serves on the local school board. Dawn works in the Camp office. Their daughter Amanda is a teacher & helper at the camp. Their son Andy runs KMM's Lee County Recreation Center which provides activities for youth and adults. Our church sends a group out annually to paint, clean, build, and assist at the camp for many years.

Prayer Requests

Pray for the family as they work in different aspects of the Kentucky Mountain Mission.

Praise God for doing the following over the past year:
1. Completion of the KMM office
2. Completion of swimming pool renovation.
3. New roof on guest house, camper cabin & nurse’s station.
4. Two college graduates have applied for internships
5. Apt to Teach ministry (teacher training classes) developed
6. New Lifeline classes for individuals with life-controlling issues.
7. Jail ministry growing
8. Two new Bible studies at the Rec Center.
9. Two new Fellowship of Christian Athletes clubs at the Lee Co. High School and Middle School.
10. New Sunday school classes have been added at Bear Track Bible Church
